Incident Type:
Cutting into the Queue
Date:
27 March 2008
Time:
7:30
Make & Model:
nothing selected MULTIPLE CARS/VANS
Colour:
Black
Reg:
County:
Aberdeenshire
What happened:
Every single weekday morning in rush hour on the A96 west bound between the Bucksburn and Dyce roundabouts. The right hand approach lane is for traffic turning right onto Dyce drive or straight on(right lane), and the left hand lane is for traffic turning left onto the Craibstone road or going straight on(left lane). The right hand lane is regularly grid locked as it is one of the main routes to the airport. The left hand lane (which I use for going straight on) is also gridlocked every morning, however not because of traffic going straight on or turning left, but because of ignorant impaitient bastards who use it to queue jump the right hand lane, they regularly force into any gap they can find or stop dead with indicator going untill someone lets them in, I would say that around 90 percent of cars/vans/taxis in the right hand lane do this every morning to avoid a long queue. I have to add 30 minutes onto my morning commute because of this. The lanes are clearly marked and drivers do know this is wrong as every time there is a police car about the problem misteriously dissapears!

IF YOU ARE ONE OF THESE IDIOTS......................PLEASE STOP, IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS.
